Padding the Betsy-K

Are there any concerns involved in padding the Betsy-K down to about 88 SPL? I would like to match it to a cone tweeter. This would be an experiment
to determine how an "all paper" sealed speaker sounds. I would cut the tweeter in rather high using a cap.
