Default Padding the Betsy-K

Paul -

Are there any concerns involved in padding the Betsy-K down to about 88 SPL? I would like to match it to a cone tweeter. This would be an experiment
to determine how an "all paper" sealed speaker sounds. I would cut the tweeter in rather high using a cap.

Regards,

Karl

Some folks feel lots of padding isn't ideal. I haven't tried it. There are some fairly sensitive paper cone tweeters out there. It seems to me someone was selling a few Peerless copies in the marketplace at some point, and I always wanted to try a pair with BetsyKs.

I'm on the fence about padding myself.
