That is an ambitious first build! I'm sure most of us started with something like a simple subwoofer, not a pair of giant dual mouth BVRs! How about some details? Did you take any pics during construction?

No, I didn't... I wasn't entirely keen on sharing pics of my poor methods with the world. I had no clamps so I was using bricks and paving stones and good ol' gravity... a broom became a makeshift sash clamp (1" handle, like it was Fate)

I don't know if I ever actually posted the BIB dimensions I used, so here they are:

L = (Line length) 150.5"
Zdriver = Driver 30.1" down from sealed end of cabinet
Sm = 200"^2

I'm not sure, but you can use the Wayback Machine to see much of it.

hammercha, you'd need a completely different BVR for the purple. I suspect it would end up being ridiculously large due to the high Qts. I'd ask the BVR experts over on the fullrange forum if they think one would work. Be sure to grab some T/S specs for the the Purple.

BetsyK sounds pretty good in this skinny k-coupler - (less "hit" than in K12) - gotta adjust the slot height and a things -like it overall better than W8-1772

that's some great looking BVR!
