I'm having a problem with goods odered and paid with mister Mikkel Simonsen: odered and paid 3 weeks ago, had a couple of short answers by email, and then no goods and no reply to my emails for 2 more weeks. If he areads this thread maybe he will at least decide to give a reply expalining his point about no reply and no goods after 3 weeks. Not a friendly customer service, to say the least!

Sorry about the bad customer service. Caused by too much work and delayed parts in this case. Your parts have been sent.

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen

I must say I have never had any problems with Mikkel, Ok I admit sometimes he is "slow" but that is most likely due to work overload.....
However he has never missed out on anything in the end he has always provided a good service and reasonable prices.

I can only recommend Mikkel and Dantimax. I have been dealing with him for several years now.

Default To Mr. mcs

Hello,

Did you ship what I ordered on 3rd Nov?
I have sent emails a couple of times, but no answer.
And I wish you to remember, you said you would send a extra control chip.

Regards,

Lee(isidor@naver.com)

Default Slow but sure, Mikkel is Trustworthy

Mikkel,
Thank you for shipping my order, I know that you had to wait for the specialized LCD. I believe this is why it took so long to receive my order after it was placed.

I ordered some parts on 10/16/08, I received my full order on 12/12/08. Just under 2 months.

I kept in touch with Mikkel via email, he ALWAYS returned my emails (some a few days later) but always kept me informed.

His kits are in (many) pieces and a true DIY kit. Great silk screening printing and quality of boards. Parts are listed in an itemized fashion. Documentation seems complete if somewhat sparse for a newbie like me. Not as easy to build as "Bas' " or "Broskie's" Aikido boards but very good for the parts count and complexity.

Overall ratings of Dantimax:
1 - 10 (10 is best)

Quality of parts: 10
Packaging and shipping: 10
Value to end user: 9
Timelyness of shipping: 3 (may be what I ordered)
Email and billing: 7-8
Help in choosing parts: 10 (I knew what I wanted but no clue how to do it) Thanks Mikkel
Quality of final build: Don't know yet, I haven't built either of 'em yet.

Would I do business with him again? Yes. No question.

I hope this helps someone who is looking for a kit to build and is (like I was) unsure of which vendor to buy from.

Thanks Mikkel,
Ron

Yes, I sent the parts a couple of days later - so I guess they got lost somewhere.

Best regards,

Yes. Sometimes there are a couple of parts out of stock, and when somebody orders one of them, that will be the part that takes the longest to arrive - that seems to be the way it works at least...

They are not heathkit manuals - that's for sure. But writing manuals isn't easy, when you know all the "facts" already. I try to include everything I think is needed... But if some of you are missing some bits of information, just tell me about it, and I will try to add it.

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen

Mikkel, this was not an attack on you or your manual writing skills, it was a commentary on my personal knowledge........As I stated. "Newbie"

Thanks for the offer of help, I'll ask if I need any.

Ron

I didn't take it as such - don't worry!

But I still welcome suggestions for my huge staff of technical writers

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen
