Default Parts Connexion NEW Product Announcements from DUELUND & BURSON AUDIO!!

Parts Connexion is pleased to announce the availability of incredible NEW products - DUELUND RS Series Copper Foil Capacitors & BURSON Supreme Sound Discrete Opamps!!

DUELUND RS Series Copper Foil Capacitors

One of the TOP TWO Signal Capacitors in the World !
(as rated by Tony Gee of Humble Homemade Hifi Capacitor Test - Verdict: 13)

DUELUND has recently launched a new cap product, to replace the original Virtual Stacked Foil (VSF) Series - the Duelund RS Copper Loudspeaker Capacitor!!

A Copper Foil hybrid design, using the dielectric of the original VSF Series, but in the same form factor as the CAST-PIO Series (taking advantage of it’s non-resonant mechanical stability), these caps approach the CAST-PIO performance is a number of ways, but at a far lower retail (nearly half). Like with CAST-PIO’s, the values listed have been bought (and stocked) in quantity, so that we can price these parts at their lowest possible retail (not like the custom-ordered pricing of the past). Retail pricing is lower the the old VSF Series, and comparable to the now retired Alexander line - but with far better performance that either of those discontinued lines!

The RS Speaker are 100 VAC rated and are for SPEAKER USE ONLY ! The RS Electronic are 400 VDC rated.

These caps come with a tinned OFC lead out, and are nominally 5% Tolerance.

BURSON Supreme Sound Discrete Opamp

The core of Burson's circuitry research and development, their evolving "design DNA", is an output stage which aims to reduce distortion across the audio frequency spectrum. It is the reason behind Burson’s unique sound which many believe to be superior….or Supreme ! In early 2000, Burson was the first company in the world to convert their design DNA into special purpose “discrete” audio opamps. They were far superior compared to general-purpose IC opamps, and audio designers and recording engineers simply plugged them into their equipment to further realise the potential of their projects. Their lastest, 4th generation opamp pushes the performance of their special-purpose “discrete” audio opamp to a higher level.

Key Design Features:
  1. Plug n Play. They are the perfect upgrade for any IC opamps. Unplug the IC opamp, plug in the Burson and hear the improvement.
  2. 4th generation design and compared to previous generations, it has only 21 components on a SINGLE opamp and 42 components on a DUAL opamp. The previous 3rd generation had 32 components in a single and 64 components in a dual.
  3. Low open-loop distortion, low noise, low drift and low offset. The Supreme Sound Opamp also exhibited a wider bandwidth. These qualities are essential in high quality analog audio amplification.
  4. Works in a wide range of power supply environments. min 5V+-, Max 20V+- This means it works from studio mixer to CD player, preamp, headphone amp, power amp to higher quality PC sound-cards.
  5. The current draw per SINGLE or DUAL module is about 10 to 15% lower, than in GEN #3.
  6. Their form factor, is smaller…thus, can more easily fit inside in a wider range of designs.
  7. Cheaper than the 3rd generation modules…..by about 25%.
  8. 30 days satisfaction refund guarantee. A lifetime warranty !

Discussion on experience comparing the Burson gen 3 versus the brand new gen 4 opamps and links placed here to pertinent threads will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
