Wink 12 inch Uni-Pivot Pick up arm kit

We are happy to offer our 12 inch Uni-Pivot kit to the DIYaudio members.
This kit is in actual fact our most popular product to date. It gives the hobbyist the opportunity to build a high performance arm for a fraction of the price. I can well remember when I started our appreciating Hi-Fi how I wished I could afford a Hancock, Maywhare, SME or other exotic arm.

The kit is a scaled down version of our pre built arms, There are savings made which are passed on to you the end user. However the kit along with all of our arms is upgradable through a series of changes up to our top spec'd Reference arm. The upgrade components are readily available directly from us the manufacturer, so this avoids the need to go to the components market where you will pay top dollar.

You can buy a Rega End Weights upgrade for $75 to $125, rewiring kit for around $125 or more. Or you can buy our complete 12 inch kit arm for $155 and it will easily out play a fully modded Rega 250 or 300. The Kit is also available in 9.5 and 10.5 inch lengths buit at a premium of an additional $55. Where other than here can you buy a new 12' arm for well under $200.

The Kit comprises of all the parts you need to build this quality arm, with the exception of the internal wiring, you can buy one of our proprietary arm looms for an additional $35-00 or use your own. In listening tests we estimate our basic loom is about 95% as good as the Cardas wire currently available on Ebay. Or you can you a wire as basic as that stripped out of a discarded computer mouse (actually not that bad a wire and very flexible)

A full set of English assembly instructions are included (yes English not Chinglish) as our design engineer originally comes from England. The arm itself normally takes about 2 to 3 hours to assemble, so start on Saturday afternoon and by that evening you will be listening to music again.

Also note with every sale made through the DIYaudio site (just mention, "I saw this add on DIYaudio") we will donate $5-00 to the site.

Talking TemaadAudio Warlock

The basic price of the Warlock kit US233-00, which comes with our standard internal wiring (which we consider is 95% as good as the Cardis wire). It can be upgraded much more easily that the the Wizard kit.
Upgrades we would recommend is
- Change wire to the top of the line Van de Hull, extra US105-00.
- Change arm base to Heavy Isolated stand alone base, with S/S Spikes (no need to screw arm down to the plinth, removing a major source for the transmission bearing & motor borne noise from entering the tone arm assembly) extra US$91-00.

In a review of this arm (review should be published in April/May) the reviewer commented "The arm reminded me strongly of the Morsiani arm (US1500) and that is very high praise."

So thanks for the inquiry and opportunity to update the page.
