it would be nice here in this topic a detailed explanation from the author of what new things does it bring each new firmware update so that the users should know if it's worth to upgrade or remain on their regular ones

domenico has already responded very quickly to user's requests for implementation of new things, so no complaints about the support coming for this card; it's best bang for the buck at the moment

I would also sugest that even older versions of the firmware should remain available in case of an online update so that users could downgrade to any other version in case the new ones doesn't satisfy their needs - I say this because these updates are available ONLY online and usually can be found only the last 2 versions at download

otherwise, absolutelly no complaints

I agree.
Moreover, since on the site is declared DSD256 e DSD512 with Asio drivers on Windows, I would like to know how this has been tested:

1) Firmware version
2) Driver version
3) Player and configuration
4) Minimum processor power

I notice everyone asking for SPI support, just a quick question, does that mean i2c has already been implemented? and if so, are volume change events working with ess dacs with the latest firmware via i2c?

I couldn't find an answer to my question, so I'll ask here:

I saw that the card could be configured to output other format than I2S through software.
Would it be possible to configure it to output directly to an AD1865 ?

Thanks,

Davide
