The easiest (and I think the best) way to play DSD is with Audirvana Plus. I use it every day, and it works flawlessly with the Combo384 (and every other DSD/PCM USB receiver).

Ok - again little prob - audio nirvana - playing dff files - loud hum on both chanels and sound - music just from one. Flac,wav - all perfect

Hi Domenico,

thanks for the reply. The problem in my case was the wrong output method. Apparently this only works with Kernel Streaming and WASAPI - Event Style.

With WASAPI it indicates that the format is not supported.

but how do You assume that no need for MCK, if You are went trough the PDF of AKM?
Or You dint?

This is what I get when connect Amanero to Win8 PC.
Any hint how to fix this ?

Hi amanero. Thanks for fast reply.

This seems to imply that the problem is with my PC.

Could be...I'll do a checking.

Anyhow, are we confident that it is working OK on Win8 configured PC's?

Yep it works with win8.

About the links i reported for info about this kind of error message, please don't download tools or other fix applications. Use the Windows DVD only to check and repair possible system errors.
