Want to know how to calculate crossover values? or how to wind coils? or measure the resonant frequency of your speaker? Well my books have tons of info regarding the design and construction of loudspeaker boxes.

I am debating whether to write a book on crossover theory and manufacture as there doesn't seem to be much proper info on the subject, what do you guys think? It will cover the formulas, crossover slopes, testing coil winding etc.

I have started the book on crossovers and have nearly finished it, just some editing and a photo or two. It is called : Crossovers A Laymans Guide to Crossover Networks. It covers the basics of how crossovers work, the topologies, slopes, formulas, charts, winding jigs coil data plus loads more, hope to release in the next week.

Can we get a sneak peak...
However good the content, the covers could do with a bit of graphic design revamp. Have you looked into publishing direct to iBooks store, free and you instantly have a huge audience with all the Apple devices around the world. |

Hi Dave
The download is a self extracting zip file with the ebook, the spreadsheet and an appendix of forms. The book itself is a standalone exe file that opens on its own. Regards Mac |
