It is current limited and short circuit protected, thus providing protection to your amplifier as well. Detailed specifications can be found at the Ebay listing. `It has been incorporated into an amplifier with a pair of LM3886 amplifier IC's, delivering 65Wrms/channel into 8 ohms. This amplifier weighs only 2.5 pounds with dimensions of 9.5 x 5 x 2.5 inches. It is simple to install, just 4 screws to secure, and screw terminal blocks, not pin headers for electrical connections.
