Welcome back! I took time off for college and finals but I am back.

This design was made by nwavguy. It is the most clean and powerfull headphone amp you can buy for under $300. If you google the amp or look in the DIY forum, you will find people raving about this headphone amp. It is really that good! I am building these to raise money for the car fund hence my poor old neon's transmission is starting to pass . I am looking to sell to people who do not want the hastle of building one or lack the knowledge to build one. I am a electrical engeering student with access to our lab which has $20k+ worth of equipment which I can use for test and mainting the quality of each and every amp that I sell. Now more about the amp...I will be building each one by hand and testing them thouroughly. If the amp is DOA or you just don't like it, send it back for a full refund (please read the policy)!



These will drive any headphones from 16ohm to 600 ohm headphones with ease. I will not go into much detail about specifications because you can look them up in nwavguy's blog/website.



For all of my old customers - I will be taking in your amps to outfit them in the ODAC. For my new customers, I will be having them available with the amp. Price for this upgrade, is $160 with the ODA board installed, and with a back panel with return priority shipping.

While I was away I was able to get some new options. I am able to make a completely custom metal front panel. Any color, any lettering. I can acrylic as well. The engraving can say whatever you want as well as what color. Tell me what you are looking for and I can send a rendering of the panel to you. Any combination and color is $39.





Customize your amp -



There are many ways I can customize your amp. Beginning with a desktop version, portable version, or both. I Include the rechargable batteries or a wall wart for the standard price. If you want both add an extra $10. For the gain switch, the standard comes with 3x and 8x gain, which is the most common stage gains and sound most best between the two. If you want any other gain besides 3x and 8x. I can switch them out with no extra charge. If you need any cable cords, IE 3.5 male to male for $5 for 3 feet or $6 for 12 feet. Any other connectors like 3.5m to RCA ect ect I can add.



Standard amp - $132 for EITHER AC adapter or rechargeable Batteries (add bamboo front panel for $3/Metal front panel $5/Metal knob for $8.50).

Standard Special = $143 for both AC/Rechargeable power source (add bamboo front panel for $3/Metal front panel $5/Metal knob for $8.50) .

The "AMG" package - Just like the racing package from Mercedes, it combines extra power and style. - $169

Upgraded op-amp chips / black enclosure / silver metal front panel / black metal knob / AC adapter / Bigger 280 MAH rechargeable 9v's / Mercedes AMG Sticker



You can still order any combination you would like, I thought it would be easier to have a menu style layout to pick from.



Enclosures



It comes as standard with a 1.18 H X 4.27 W X 3.15 D enclosure which comes standard as silver. Different colors you can pick from are:

black (currently out of stock from my normal supplier, can still get it but will cost an extra $5) , blue, red, gold and green. If you want to color coridinate the knobs (white or green) please add $2. I can add a metal knob for $8.50. (Black or Silver)

All Enclosures come with 4 rubber feet at the bottom. If you would like anything other than the feet please let me know.



Front Panels

As I said in the post above (if you did not read) I can make custom metal/acrylic front panels, any color, any engraving.

Since I do not want to charge extra and have the order be longer for each amp, I choose to buy the front panels pre-made.If you want a front panel for the larger desktop version that does't have a gap I will have to have that sent out and custom made.

I was just able to purchase Acrylic clear front panels and just in Bamboo! The standard front panel is a clear acrylic one. I can add a metal one made by JDS labs for extra $5 or a real bamboo one for extra $3.





If you would like a board with no enclosure and no power supply and no front panel, I am selling them for just $75. (Again message me prior to ordering).





Most shipping to countries other than the USA is $18.50, but it may be lower or higher.



Standard turn around from payment to your door is 1-2 weeks. 95% of the time it will be about 1 week. In case of an emergency or for whatever reason it will be as long as 2 weeks.



Update 2/4/12

Due to many items being out of stock that are needed for my orders, I have to shop elsewhere online to get the parts. Doing this causes me to have more shipments and more shipping costs. Unfortunately I had to increase the price of the boards. As soon as my supplies get more stock I will lower the price according. I also will be making the much anticipated ODA from nuwavguy as soon as I can get my hands on the boards.

Due to the increase of sales, the turn around time for the boards is becoming shorter and shorter. In the near future I should be able to have a 1 day turn around so you can get it ASAP! Thanks for the business for past and future customers!

Update 3/5/12

Shipping prices have increased, raising about a dollar. Sorry for the increase =/. On a positive note, I have been able to get a hold of black metal knobs. (Same as in the picture just black). They look very sharp!

Price drop! I was able to get a big batch of everything I need, making it cheaper! Turn around time will now be about 3 days.

I updated an easier way to order the amps. It seems like I may have made it sound more complicated than it needs to be. While watching a black AMG Mercedes burn out in front of me, I had an idea to do a special "tuning" edition of this amp. I figured the sticker was a bit much, but I thought it was cool!

Update 3/25/12

A lot of people have been asking me if I can mount anything in the rear panel. I cannot do so easily, and other than having the power supply go through the back, no real advantage. When the ODA comes out (not any time soon) You might be able to run the power supply input through the back. Until then, I can not do so.
