noise floor analyser
Hello,
I made an audio analyser specifically to measure a DAC noise floor. It can measure a noise floor downto -165dBFs. Is is used like a sound card and the FFT is done is a computer. totaldac analyser http://www.totaldac.com/fichiers/ana...oise_floor.gif http://www.totaldac.com/fichiers/upl.gif |
I've tried the link but it times out for me, so can't make a judgement on it.

In real terms the noise floor shown IMHO is exceptionally low, wondering how that was accomplished. |
:cop: This is essentially an advertisement for what is an interesting product, nonetheless it belongs in the commercial forums. Hence its move to vendors bazaar.

Yes it has become a commercial product, but for DIYers it can be an alternative to expensive high end audio analysers. For DIYers high level measurements can be done by a sound card but very low noise measurement can't be done properly by a conventional sound card. |
