I need a similar device in 20-25K. Can a parallel resistor be used on the 50K unit to lower the effective impedance to 20 or 25K?

Is this a "bad" idea?

8 pins at the bottom and 2 pins at the rear for the "motor".

1.NC 2.LOUT 3.GND 4.GND(3,4 CONNECTED INSIDER)
5.ROUT 6.RIN 7.LIN 8.NC
