While what you say about the Osborne effect can be true, it sounds as though they are ready to launch soon.

I'll be curious how the "updated" UCD's compare to the N-core, and to the current lineup.

Looking forward to seeing what the products look and sound like (and what the prices look like :eek: )

I think your did a good job, the measures are excellent, sincere compliments. I have a question (I think that is of common interest to others, to understand better measures). how many volt supply your smps1200 (at idle) on the sample under test?

thanks for the reply, but the question is: smps1200 outputs at those volts? on new sample under test? eg. + / -70V or 80V etc? (at idle).
Your measures not show this info.

About +/-89V idle, dropping to about +/-72V under full load. The leaflet presents the amp/smps as a combo which is why this info isn't there. A full data sheet for the amp alone is under way.

Thanks Bruno, I asked for understanding the behavior vs. power, it is clear that the measure would not show at the real clipped , if so, to 4R should be about 600W (not 420W). I assumed your power stage to lose only 2V from vcc rail.
Pre-clip, I think that is too far from the rail (if so).

Perhaps you are developing a new smps for combo, well ... I hope it is not the same as ours ... eheh! Joke.
