Looking forward to that, especially if it is a proper double-blind (otherwise it will only be a competition between subjective perceptions).

My personal believe is that the linear is way better !
Sure - and nothing wrong with that, as long as everybody realizes that that is what it is - a personal belief.

It sounds better or it doesn't, no blindfolding nesesarry in my opinion! It will always be subjective, one person likes it one way and another person likes it the other way.

So it is not possible to argue with you at all. You will always use that one !

Several very exsperienced listeners will never be enough to convince you.

If you do it with a proper double blind test, you can determine IF there are any differences and what they are. Nothing subjective!

Sure blindtest is to prefer but I think the difference will be so big that it will be easy meat .

Well - if it is acknowledged to be subjective, there is no *need* to argue.

No. Because I have done enough experiments to know how much your brain gets in the way between the actual air waves that hit your ear and what you think you hear. I could tell endless stories of "golden ears" and what they thought they were hearing vs what the sounds really were. I assume you have red "Musicophilia" by Oliver Sacks?

Well, yes, but here we get to the age-old philosophical debate of "accurate reproduction" vs "sounds good".

Earlier I always went for accurate reproduction. The problem is that only few recordings is accurate and worth to hear.. I prefer a little bit of colouration lately. This do not affect my capability to hear differences.
