I'd also like to see the possibility for analog input to continue usinge already existing gear. Otherwise this can turn into a very interesting project.

It's digital input only, but I think later we can add a ADC module for your application. But if you want to use analog input only, AMT2050 v1 through T3 can be considered.

How about including a TC2000 chip that can be switched on/off for analog inputs? Then you still have the tripath magic on analog inputs and the all digital amp for digital sources.

Sounds good. Any idea about how to switch the pwm signal?

I think both chips have a sleep mode. How about muting the outputs, switching the chip that is currently outputting into sleep mode, waking up the other, and un-muting the outputs?

I will test it later, but may be it will be next project, because I will get the pcb soon, so there are already many works waiting.
