Back, ran at 96kHz today, and no problem.
And 192kHz, there was music, but many noise, I have to find out what happened.

Just wondering if there were updates hifimediy?

Also can the amp delay channels with millisecs? sub might be underneath TV or in corner so delay of channels might be useful if able to implement it.

It's becoming very quit at Hifimediy. Waiting to build a high-end 2.1 PC audio system.

Default Patience is a virtue

I think he's working on his preamp.

I also think we've become spoiled by how amazingly fast he prototypes stuff - I know I have.

Looking forward to this project when ready, since I think 2.1 directly from digital is genius, not perhaps for us DIYaudio geeks, but for the hundreds of millions sitting at their computers listening to horrid low fi sound. This project will bring peace and joy to them, and make the world a better place. Good two-way monitor speakers and decent subwoofer drivers are available relatively cheap now, too. And by subwoofer I don't mean something with a 5 inch driver in a plastic cabinet that has a response from 70 to 150 Hz at 91 dB max.

5.1 and 7.2 and blueray and 3D and all that need to settle down into a new standard (like we haven't had since VHS beat out Betamax) before I can get excited enough to care about surround again. I still remember how to wire a Hafler surround circuit. Hey, maybe I have finally achieved grumpy old fart status!? Been working on it for years...
