Default The free Blacksheep Kable demo test

Hello again!

Frank from Blacksheep Kable here. One of DIYaudio.com members gave me a great idea. Will it work, we'll see...

I am going to send out 3 or 4 of our cables to DIYaudio.com members who are interested. I think there are enough of us out there that it will work.
I will track who they are being sent to on this thread. They can hold them for a period of time (not sure how long yet. suggestions welcome). After that period of time, they ship them to another member and so on. I have already sent out samples and it cost about $5 to ship them.

The real question is will this work or will they only make it so far? That's up to you!! If you are interested, you can e-mail your mailing address privately, I will only post you member name unless you give me your real name. I will not post you address.

I suppose this will also end up where most of the feedback will come to as well. What do you say Andrea? You asked if they are as good as they look?

Frank

It's ok. Please don't count me in for testing them though; unless you are feeling so generous as to let me keep them after my testing

Sorry, replied on the other thread. Yes I am feeling generous. I will send you a RCA interconnect. If you ever get to sending them out, np, if you keep it, I hope you like it and let me know. Thanks for the wonderful idea.

OK folks, I'm sending an RCA interconnect to Andrea. She is unfortuantely in Italy so I don't think these will be circulating around much.

Looking for DIYaudio.com members in the US.

Some questions, that might help and sell.

1) are you offering different color patterns ? ie just white and red or red & black.

2) Different lengths ?

3) Better ends ?

Hey Jase,

You are right, Andrea may be a man. For some reason I thought she was a woman. Andrea? What to clear this up?

Jase, your cables will be going out on Monday.

Currently we are offering Black, white, and red only for interconnects and speaker cables. Our AC power cord is all black and currently our XLR cable we're working on is black and white. In the near future, we are changing the RCA & Speakers to black and red. I think the white is too much.

1 meter for the interconnects. 2 meters for the speaker (4 meters total). 1.5 meters for the AC power cord and the XLR is currently 1 meter.

Not offering better ends yet.

Default The Europeans

Hi Igor,

Tell you what. I am only in the US until the end of January. If there is a good response to having a cable test in Europe, you will be the first one to get a pair.

So let's here from the Europeans, any interest across the pond?

Frank

You might want to also offer custom length's for the Interconnects' i get asked that alot because some people like to put there amplifiers / other pieces further apart.

The interconnect cables could also be 2 colors instead of 3, it might look a little nicer, ( just my $.o2)

The speaker end's might have problems, but i will try them when i can get a set from you, i had a set for my self and found that the soft ends shrunk and they would always come loose. I have solution for that tho.

Might want to also put your name of company on the cables, using some kinda plastic paper with your name printed on then with clear heat shrink over top to keep clean, maybe a serial number too, just for tracking and warrantee purpose.

I have other ideas, but no email's are coming back from you

Jase
