Can the volume pot be bypassed on the Tamp-90? I'd be interested in using this amp with an NAD pre. I've tried a few smaller powered T amps and like the sound. But really need something like the Tamp-90 for my main system.

I bought the Tamp-300.
It arrived damaged and not working.
The packing was poor. The headphone jack on the back was obliterated in shipping.
The display doesn't work and there is no sound.

I emailed Hlly and they have not responded for three days now.

I would never buy anything from Hlly again.

Hlly finally emailed me back tonight.

They told me the destroyed jack on the rear was actually a second power switch for the preamp.
I replaced the switch and it works now.

Exclamation Questions TAMPs

Hi, folks!

- Is it possible for the TAMP-90 to run/drive a set of 6x9" speakers AND an 8" bass?
- How much is the TAMP-300 and where can you purchase it?

Thanks!

There is simply more headroom and authority with the T-Amp 90 compared to the lower power T-Amps available. There have been complaints about the first generation models being noisy...In fairness, I can hear some hiss if I put my ears directly up to the tweeters, but from my listening seat, or when music is playing I can't hear any hiss. With that said, the T-Amp 90 is not as quiet as the other 12 volt T-amps, but it is no more noisy than any other amp I've used. The build quality is good, and the amp feels nice and solid...all in all, I am very happy with this amp.
is this the same?

HLLY will have TA3020 amplifier in the 2010 year, SO need the people here to offer HLLY some advice!

Also HLLY will sell the pre-amplifier for the TAMP-90, 4 inputs select,
CS3310 audio volume control, LCD display, remote control, use AD797 OP AMP
Hope you will like it!
