Hi,
Received the kit today. Thanks. Some observations: - Quality is good, except some leftover flux that does not affect performance. VFD display is excellent - Only worked after trying the third CD/DVD ROM. First was a Samsung DVD, second, a BTC cd burner (2004). The third one was a Hitachi DVD made in 1999 and that worked. When it does not work, the processor boots up, display the revision number and gets stuck in "checking for IDE" - It is very fast switching from one song to another - All keys in remote work, except the one with the "radiation" symbol - Functions (in addition to basic): open/close tray; fast forward/rewind, 1X, 2X, 3X and 4X if you keep the key pressed; Select a track with number keys; display track play time, track remaining time, CD play time and CD remaining time; repeat track, repeat cd. Question: There is an extra set of pins/jumpers in the back named "J4" what is this for? |
