This is what I am going to do, correct me if I am wrong.

1. I will make PayPal payment USD38 to your PayPal account hsslow@msn.com

2. Then I will provide you my postal address and my phone(mobile) number and wait around 10 days for it to arrive.

Thats about it, right?

Hi Jazzy

Default Received the kit

Hi,

Received the kit today. Thanks.

Some observations:

- Quality is good, except some leftover flux that does not affect performance. VFD display is excellent
- Only worked after trying the third CD/DVD ROM. First was a Samsung DVD, second, a BTC cd burner (2004). The third one was a Hitachi DVD made in 1999 and that worked. When it does not work, the processor boots up, display the revision number and gets stuck in "checking for IDE"
- It is very fast switching from one song to another
- All keys in remote work, except the one with the "radiation" symbol
- Functions (in addition to basic): open/close tray; fast forward/rewind, 1X, 2X, 3X and 4X if you keep the key pressed; Select a track with number keys; display track play time, track remaining time, CD play time and CD remaining time; repeat track, repeat cd.

Question:

There is an extra set of pins/jumpers in the back named "J4" what is this for?

I tested the CD/DVD ROMS and found that you have to set the jumper to master and they will be recognized by the controller. If it is set to Slave or cable select, it will be stuck in the "checking IDE" mode

Next, I'm going to test the digital out with toshlink
