The free module as promised finally did show up! See the attached photos.
It arrived well packaged. The quality looks decent ... much better than I could do with these *tiny* parts. On the rear view the solder did not flow all the way through on the source legs. It should not be a problem as the top side was fine, but one could touch it up if it really bothered them. There was some white stuff on the board which easily washed away with rubbing alcohol and a tooth brush. I have not had a chance to test it yet.

Whoop de doo! Better late then never! Hook it up & give us a report of the sound - listening to one channel is a better test of sound quality than stereo - less for the ear to be fooled by. What module is it?
