Hello Jan,

Is there a SSW board available ?
Then, it is possible to change easily +/-15 symmetric outputs to lower values ?
Regards.

Frex

Yes I have extra units in the Kickstarter run; I'll put you on the list to be notified when they come in. Send me your full name and email to jandidden01 at gmail dot com.

But it is not easy, as in 'almost impossible' to change the output. Sorry; if I ever do a new run I will make it possible.

Nice work, Jan! The pcb was bigger in my mind. It's really cute.

Thanks Jan. Received the boards few days ago. I used the SilentSwitcher to power a DIY AK4490 DAC from this forum using a 5V 2A mobile charger and the initial impressions were very positive.
Power requirements were +5.5V (7V max) 500mA, +15V 100mA,-15V 100mA.

I have another batch of SilentSwitchers available for anybody interested to get one or more.
I am collecting requests and plan to ship last week of April. This is a smaller batch than the Kickstarter (and I found out I need to pay VAT on sales ;-( so the price is slightly higher:

One unit: euro 69; two units (a Duo): euro 119; and for a Quad euro 209.
Tracked shipping is euro 6 whatever the number of units and wherever you live, courtesy of the kind people at german Post/DHL.

Please send me an email with the number of units you want and your shipping address; as feedback I will list you here. My Paypal is linearaudio@skynet.be .

I need some opinions. I have looked at providing custom output voltages on the 'analog' outputs. The current version has +/-15V, but I could for instance provide a version for +/-12V and a version for +/-5V. They would all have the same 6.5/5/3.3V 'digital' output though.

Output currents on the analogs would increase roughly in proportion to the lower voltages.

If there is enough interest I can probably do it within the existing price structure; there is some additional one-time cost but I can absorb that.

Any interest in these custom versions?
