Hi guys,

We have started production of an NOS configured DAC addon for Cubieboard.
Cubieboard is very similiar to Raspberry but with some advantages in our opinion.

We call it CubieNOS and its more or less the same size as Cubieboard with a header that fits perfect on top, or from the bottom (depends on how you want to see it).

It's a fully balanced design with several outputs.
L/R Balanced XLR
L/R Unbalanced RCA
L/R Unbalanced headphones 2.54mm pin header
Alphanumeric displayport 2.54mm pin header

CubieNOS is delivered in two different versions. One NOS version and one version with a fixed frequency at 176.4 kHz.

You can read more at our small site and order it form there. Hope you like it!
Enjoy!
CubieNOS for Cubieboard

I can mention that we have put alot of effort and time to find the best possible and suitable configuration for Cubieboard. The addon card has been hard tested form us for several months before we decided to go live!

Wow! $340 and no mention of the DAC chip used....

Hi,
We actually got alot of questions about this so we are releasing a block diagram soon just to clarify some things.
The D/A converters are of model TDA1387. We have tried out all possible chips in NOS and without any filters, and TDA1387 was unexpected on of the best.

I also want to point out this is made in small exclusive batches, designed and assembled in Sweden and thats why the price tag looks the way it looks today.

Regards,
George
