Most of these numbers are probably not very desirable but I do have one part # that is specified for Pete Millet's Engineer's Amplifier, the 6CB6A, and one part # for the higher powered version of the amp, the 6HJ5.

All tubes are in original boxes as far as I can tell. I have no way to test these. All tubes listed are $1.50 each.

5 - 6CB6A RCA
1 - 6CB6A RCA (older lot)
7 - 6CB6A GE (date code NG)
2 - 6CB6A GE (date code FV))
2 - 6CB6A Westinghouse (one marked 75-09, one marked 63-30)
10 - 6HJ5 Raytheon
7 - 6BY5GA Sylvania
4 - 6BY5GA Raytheon
2 - 6BY5GA GE
1 - 6BY5GA RCA
3 - 6BY5GA Westinghouse
10 - 6CA5 RCA
45 - 6JD5 GE
5 - 6HS5 GE
14 - 6HV5A GE

Please send a PM if you are interested.

Thanks,

Scott

The 10 - 6HJ5 tubes were not sold after all so they are still available.

Clearly there is no interest in the rest of the numbers, so this thread is cancelled.

The 6CB6A's are used in the red board, but are very common. They were used in radios and TV sets for a 30+ year period. I got 20 new GE's at a hamfest for $5.

The 6BY5's are useful rectifier tubes for audio applications. They were never too popular during the vacuum tube era, and haven't been discovered yet by the audiophool crowd, but they might sell on Ebay.

The 6JD5's 6HS5's and 6HV5's are all pulse regulator triodes from the end of the color TV era.

The 6JD5's were on ESRC's dollar list until recently. I bought 20 of them from him when I was in his warehouse. It is hard to sell them for $1.50 plus shipping when Stan sells guaranteed ones for $1.00. I haven't been able to make a useful audio amp with them yet, but I am still trying.

The 6HV5 was used in a speciallized audio amp (Acoustat??) made for directly driving electrostatic speakers without a transformer. Because of that those tubes bring $5 to $10 each if you find an owner of one of those amps. They should sell on Ebay.
