TAS5630 amplifier modification suit for HD650

My friends buy a new HD650 audiophile headphone from Sennheiser, they told me normal headphone amplifier can't drive it.I download datasheet from Sennheiser company website(Sennheiser Worldwide - High Quality Headphones, HD 650, Around Ear - Private Audio)

I found this headphone have 300Ω impedance,500mw power consumption
,so it need 12Vrms out,the headphone amplifier working voltage should 18V,normal headphone amplifeir can deliver out so big voltage.

I buy tas5630 amplifier from AUTHLXL weeks ago,so large sound out ,bigger powerful,I have calculated out put voltage will perfect when use single end from BTL out,so I modification my TAS5630 amplifier(Genius300),

First step,change the output capacitor,I use WIMA MKS4 680N/250V.

Second,I solder circuit like picture (HEADPHONE AMP)here.

I feeling my HD650 sound excellent when finished.the amplifier works stable, powerful out ,warm sound ,cool case.

Great works for me!!

Switch power meybe perfect!

A bigger IC in the module's supply.I think Powerint company have lots of Flyback switch power IC,and free download expert software,I think guys can use TOP261Y replace current IC.

TOP261 can deliver out 333W at open frame mode.I think this is the biggest single chip switch power IC in the world!
Easy design and simple circuit, useless PFC,Global power supply. If any friends try it,pls send detial here.

How can we make tas5630 4channel or 2.1channel

Ti EVM board can't get 4channel or 2.1channel,because input fixed two channel ,how can we use it in 2.1 mode and 4 channel single chip?
????????? - ???? D ??????? - TAS5630 - TI

We have finished lastest modules of TAS5630 full power out version.it can deliver out 2*300W/4ohm,1*600W/4ohm,4*145W/2ohm,,2*75W/4ohm+1*300W/4ohm,all parameter at 10%THD+N,TI EVM board can't do it like our new module, especial feature is it can be powered by transformer(800W real value transformer),it include three parts, one of main TAS5630 board, the other of 2channel single end board, third of transformer rectifier and filter board

I suggest guys not use opa1632

I suggest guys not use opa1632 as front buffer ,bad choice!because it make the input stage as stereo mode, you can't use it as 4channel or 2.1channel mode,I think your can try opa2132 or opa2353 ,so it can realize 4 channel input ,then you can use it with 4mode,we have make it reality, sound excellent.

I have to tell friends use this chip ,must carefully power supply ,50V and +15v should supply same time or +15v first.the chip will stable at this sation.

I have burn-in our TAS5630 FULL FUNCTION KITS 2days,works stability.the transformer parameter,
ac input : 110v or 220v
power: 800Wrms
output: 32v AC/23A,17v ac/1A

Dear gooki,great works indeed!

we have developed new smps fitted for full power function board,we are not suggest using TAS5630 at full load conditions, but it like a big pool and save high energy inside,so we can get more powerful bass and bigger dynamic range.

Schematic so simple ,use two flyback SMPS to realize it,only FLB SMPS topic can be in series and in parallel.auto current sharing when in parallel.

50V/10A continous current output(test at 220VAC),50V/12A at burst mode.if you use it at 110V delivered power will less.

authlxl, new SMPS looks good, do you have matching TAS5630 amplifier board to go with it?

Also what is under the heatshrink on the speaker output wires?

Ok!the common mode filter on the speaker output wires, decrease the output EMI,

the matching TAS5630 amplifier have finished,I have upload picture on diyaudio, here I reload !

Tas5613 have on the market, use easily!

If the tas5615 hard to use,the tas5613 cheaper and use easily, beacause it can drive 8ohm or 4ohm loader, sound quality excellent, not hard like TAS5630,and hardly burnt when shorted.

we use it on our TAS5630FFDV2 board, feature good.
datasheet :Digital Amplifier Solutions - Analog-Input Class-D Speaker Amplifiers - TAS5613 - TI.com
TI EVM :http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/slou286/slou286.pdf

Works stable together with our atx SMPS 150 RMS power out,300W pp power out.

Soft start cap should larger than the datasheet value.
