Default Will there be a Buffalo IV with ES9038PRO SABRE DAC?

Hi, Brian and Russ!

Do you have any idea on your DAC board kit product realization incorporating ES9038PRO Sabre DAC chip?
ESS Technology :: ESS Technology Introduces the SABRE PRO Series of DACs Setting a New Performance Bar with Unprecedented 140 dB Dynamic Range

I believe Twisted Pear Audio must be the first company in the world that provides the advantage of the chip to DIY user communities as it used to be in the case of ES9008 and ES9018.

Interesting: "The ES9028PRO and ES9026PRO are pin-compatible upgrades for previous generation ESS products—the ES9018S and ES9016S", meaning 9026 could replace 9018 on BuffaloIII easily? But 9038pro is different i guess...
There's a bit more information here ESS Technology :: ES9038PRO
But still doesn't tell anything really usefull about why it's better than the old one...

Maybe the datasheet of the new chip it may be more important in the first instance, than the samples itself...

In addition to being very interested in a ES9038PRO Buffalo, I'm curious to see how the new ES9311 LDO regulator will be integrated into designs.

The ES9311 Low-Noise, Low Dropout Regulator

Definitely, ES9311 LDO it should be give it a try and tested in this approach (if may be available). The concept of this regulator it sounds very promising, out of the few infos coming in the ESS presse release...

Please just don't forget to keep us up to date about possibly ongoing developments. Especially, it would be interesting to know when you expect a possible Buffalo-IV to be finalized for everyone who planed to build a Buffalo-III as soon as it's available again (as I do for example ).
