I've noticed a flurry of comments and new product announcements about the up coming AKM sample rate converter, AKM AK4137eq SCR.
There have been comments in the past that the BIII/II sounds better when it is fed higher bit files, something allegedly to do with the 9018 not having to do the work of up sampling, i.e. it's internal SRC shuts down.

Russ Brian, have either of you thought about exploring this chip?
