We may go ahead and release it - but as a finished module only. No schematic.
So why not then get it measured on AP to have some facts, try to find $$ buyer, have a good lawyer to write/check the contract, sell it and profit?

Nevertheless, congratulations and thanks for your (already published or published soon) work.

Hi Russ,

I just found this thread and I'm really interested in the counterpoint I/V for the Buffalo DAC. I ok with just a document that describe how to connect the I/V and jumpers. Don't really need the schematics as long as it does its job properly.

It would be great that you sell the assembled PCBc, just like the BII/BII were.

Ciao!
Do

Thank you for the encouragement.

One forum member has already ripped off the IVY-III - that is why I am a bit trepidatious. Still I am growing fond of the idea of people other than me getting to hear this thing.

Cheers!
Russ

I would be very happy to listen to it in my B-IIIse based DAC. Promise to NDA and not post any photos, etc...

I can only second Barrow's comment! I am currently running my Buffalo without an I/V stage into my DSP. I can't help thinking CP3 would be a better option.

Russ, I have at home Buffalo I, II & IIIse and IVY, Counterpoints, and Legato I, 2 & 3.1. I do the same promise as Barrows (Yes, I need to try this iv circuit also).

I am making some changes to the circuit - if Brian and I decide to offer it I will post here. The circuit needs matched pairs in spots to function at its best - so it will definitely not be cheap. It will be our most expensive output stage should we offer it.

It is also an output stage I have spent about 5 years (more? not sure) perfecting.

I've been a long time happy user of TP boards and I have to say I'd be very interested in a new Counterpoint III, even if you have to take steps to protect you IP ;-)

I'd buy 2.

Perhaps using a 4-layer PCB along with it being pre-built would offer a bit more protection? At least that seems to do the trick for the other modules.
