Hi!.
Last week-end I tried an old Burson discrete opamp replacing the LM4562 in my Legato 3.1. Changes were not subjective. I will not discuss wich one was better or worse because I think that this is a matter of taste. I only want to think in other potential candidates for opamp rolling. Russ, which was the reason for choosing LM4562?. Stability?, Musical performance?. I would like try AD797BRZ (two in dual DIP adapter) but I have read that this need a special configuration to operate properly. What do you think about?. Another possible candidate would be LME49990.... Regards. Ignacio. |

You can just use the Ventus from the balanced outputs of the Legato, it's the discrete version of the same thing.
