I have a Buffalo II and a MUX reciever. I am considering adding some DSP in the digital domain.
I have come across the minidsp kits. If I were to use spdif, I would need a miniDIGI, and a 2x4 miniDSP. If I were to use 12S I would just need the mini digi 2x4 board. miniDSP Kits | miniDSP http://www.minidsp.com/images/docume...ef-MiniDSP.pdf I don't know a lot about sampling rates, bits, and such things. Would adding one of these boards reduce sound quality, add distortion, add jitter? Has anyone managed to do this using 12S?
