Actually technically it can, but not in stock form. You would need two of them (per channel) each setup as an inverting amplifier with a jumper at the input resistor and something between 187 and 356R or so at the feedback restsor. :) This would get you something close to what the ESS demo board does (as well as lots of other apps).

Ventus and Ventus EZ can also be easily setup this way.

If you want BAL/SE conversion you would need a total of 6 modules.
