where to get more BS250KL for Legato v2?

Building up my Legato v2.0 tonight I put in three of the P-channel MOSFETs backwards. Doh! They did not come out intact. The other nine are correctly placed.

Anyone know where I can get a few BS250KL-TR1-E3? They are coming up as NLA...

A note.... I read that the part is no longer manufactured and thus NLA.
If TPA can't supply, there are firms that stockpile NLA parts and you need to put in an RFQ for them ( request for quote) but most if not all have a minimum dollar requirement ranging from $50 to $250 dollars for a minimum order...

Thank you, Brian! Please let me know if you come up with any BS250.

On a related note, are the TP0604 a drop in deal if inserted backwards to compensate for the different pinout? Would I need to replace all 12 BS250 with TP0604?

Yes, they just go in backwards. You would need to replace all of them as they are a different part.

Thanks for the offers to help out! The support among the TP customers is wonderful. Brian fixed me up with a set of TP0604 and shipped today. Plan is to completley change over my Legato v2.0 to those devices.

Now if anyone has any tips for effectivley clearing the PCB through-holes of solder after removal of the previous components I'm all ears!

Yeah, that's kind of a pain without good equipment. I get to cheat and use a nice Pace MBT 201 station at work.

I've never used one, but some folks use something like this.. Edsyn - EDSYN DS017 - "The Original" Deluxe SOLDAPULLT I guess I would stand the board on edge, by clamping in a Pana-vise or something, put my soldering tip on the pad, and suck the solder through the opposite side with that doohicky. Be sure to use a little flux.
