PDF for ethernet jack attached.

I will get a DXF file of the mounting pattern posted soon.
Here is a Front Panel Express file containing the Teleporter part. Right click and create a user macro in your library.

Also, a DXF of the part.

How many Teleporters would be needed for 8 channels? I am thinking of picking up 8 channels of i2s from the computer using the Xonar ST.

Thanks, Mike

Nice if you will be willing to share the I2S pick up points in the Xonar ST board...

Ok, I read the post in your link. There are 7 pins that have the data we need. Your bit teleporter has 4 channels. So I would need 2 transmitter boards and 2 receiver boards. Is that correct?

Well, 6-pins (you don't need the Vdd), but yes, two transmitters/receivers for that.

Another use for the Teleporter will be to connect to a digital crossover or equaliser.

I use a couple of DEQX units connected to the XONAR card configured as quadrophonic and then feed their digital output into Buffalo DACs that, in turn, feed each individual speaker driver (the DEQX allows discrete calibration of each individual driver as well as being a crossover and room eq).

Tapping into the I2S made an astounding difference. The Buffalo DAC in concert with the digital processing capabilities of the DEQX is simply astounding. Unfortunately, running I2S any real distance is extremely problematic - particularly at higher bitrates. Hopefully, the Teleporter is the answer to my prayers :-)
