Hi Russ and Brian:
Is there a mistake in the Placid HD menu regarding the formular to adjust the Vout? Using Vref = 3.85V and RF = 1k; Vout = Vref * (1 + RF/RG); Vout would be about 9V when RG is 750R, not 14.5V as listed in the table. I should use about 345R for RG to get 15V Vout. Did I miss something? Thanks! |

I think that was written assuming RF of 2K as in the schematic.
Yes 345-351 would be about right for 1K, but I am pretty sure 2K is provided. If the manual states RF 1K that is probably a typo. We will fix that one way or the other. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Thanks Russ!
You are correct! The schema shows 2K for RF and I confirmed my kit comes with 2K for RF (R12A and R12B). The RF 1K is a typo in the manual. |
