It is a WM8805 implementation with 4:1 SPDIF/AES in and I2S out by default. I am developing adaptive firmware to enable locking of both 192khz and 176.4khz signals (can't be done in hardware mode).

It also has both 2bit channel selection input and direct access via I2C for AC2 etc.

Hi Russ,

Is SPDIF out another option?

Will there there be a switch like the previous version to switch the inputs?

Thank you,
Milton

"It also has both 2bit channel selection input and direct access via I2C for AC2 etc."

It will use the same switch and method as the old MUX (2-bit channel selection), but also allow I2C control.

We have the new PCBs, and will be testing them as soon as we have all the parts together. As soon as we know it is working well it will be available.

Will the power requirements be the same as with "The S/PDIF Transceiver Module" (7,5V)?

Yes. I have a prototype module, and am just waiting for a few parts to arrive (next day or two) and I will begin testing it in earnest.
