Someone said that most computers have TOSLINK inputs. I think you'll find that many motherboards have S/PDIF and/or TOSLINK -OUTPUTS- but not that many have corresponding inputs. Generally if you want digital input, you need an appropriately equipped sound card.

any change to get this ES9102 datasheet without NDA?
we are DIY, how to get NDA?
also notice ESS has low pin count version ES9112 too
already in production and how much cost?

We are still awaiting an updated datasheet I believe. I have a layout, but it is based on the first revision.
