Thanks Russ. Good news indeed. Now all I need to hear is that the AC2 and USB Transport will be ready to ship next week .

OK, I have my Ventus EZ. Does it need any particular configuration for bal to SE conversion? I've just used the components it comes with.

I prefer the LME49990 opamp over the stock LME49710 opamp.

I'm not changing opamps as I don't believe it will make much difference. I'm sure Russ chose the right one for the job.

I was thinking in terms of resistors.

Stock form it's already set up for BAL-SE conversion, no? This is how it's set up in the normal Ventus.

I assumed it might be, but just wanted to make sure before installation.

You should be fine as-is. It's basically a high-current output bal-se converter.

Thanks Brian, so it has unity gain I assume. Each Ventuz EZ will b following an Ivy III, so I don't think I'll need gain. I'm currently reading up on opamps in "Electronics For Dummies" so I understand these things now.

Doesn't Ivy III have the Ventus EZ already built in?

Yes. I assume he is using it after a dual-mono Buffalo, with two IVY-IIIs.
