HELP overvoltage storm killed Counterpoint I/V
Please help one channel Counterpoint I/V it's gone to overvoltage, any LED's don't lit, caps C2 & C6 become bigger near to exploit, I don't have any idea how to start to repair.
Thank you |
What you asking is nearly impossible to help fix from afar. I certainly can't diagnose it for you unfortunately.
Unless you are fine with testing each of the components independently you definitely will want to replace caps and transistors. Pretty much all parts except possibly the resistors, and I would check each of those. Especially the active parts will be suspect. Sounds like its time for a Legato instead. Sorry for the bad luck. Cheers! Russ |
Please could you supply me the transistors & diodes, thanks in advance.
Cheers Felipe |
You can simply order the parts from Mouser or Digikey or any number of places. Counterpoint is not a current project for which we stock kits. In any case I don't stock any parts at all. :)

Thanks for advice.
Mouser shipping expenses 20€00 Digi-Key shipping expenses 18€00 |
