This shows why trnsformers help to produce "better" bas...

io, what DCRs and inductances your transformer has?
Did you connect center tap (if you got it) to GND or you leave it unconnected?

Primary bifilar 12 ohms dcr serial (2x6ohm) 6Hy 0.32 mm silk insulated
secondary 82 ohms dcr 28Hy 0.21 mm silk insulated.
GND terminals from a secondary RCA outputs

What about core for Your Hand Made trafos...??

I bet next step will be silver wire.. ....

Anway great idea to have Your own trafo.

Sounds like Lot of Fun.

Tel us bit more about it maybe some photo...??

Are You thinking of group buy...

As far as I know there is nobody else trying to make his own trafos specially for our "beloved Buffalos".
I hope that with some more efforts io will come out with "Hand Made io-Trafo" for Buffalo …

Hello everybody,

Did enybody try output transformers with two buffalo II as dual mono ?

In dual mono mode i see (from the connection diagram with the IVY) that all 4 output signals (OUT_R+, OUT_R-, OUT_L+, OUT_L-) are used per channel, instead of 2 output signals per channel in stereo mode .
What would be the transformer connection diagram then?
