![]() Failing that, a link to somewhere that explains it would also be much appreciated. PS 7 transformers! That would be one heavy DAC! You'd need a real Buffalo to carry it anywhere. |

How do you read these charts?
I suppose for the THD chart, the highest peak (at ~25K) gives you the -118 db THD number The DNR, the highest peak is also ~ 25K and that is at ~143 db?

With the harmonics so low, I do not think there is any DAC+IVconverter+filter that beats this measurement. 3rd is at -122 dB and 2nd is even lower.
Still, it does not say how it sounds. How THD+N is calculated from such a graph can be read about on Wikipedia. It is easy but tedious. Regards, Quote:

If it didn't sound good, we would not sell it (since we use all this stuff primarily for ourselves).

I just realized that I had not accounted for Daylight Savings when setting up the timer on the web page. It has just become one hour closer to sale time! (Timer is accurate now.)

Guys, I think we set some sort of record selling these things out. It was only a few minutes before they were all gone.
My apologies to those who have waited and are still waiting. My congratulations to the lucky few. ![]() Good news though, we will be opening up orders again in much shorter rolling intervals. Cheers! Russ

Listen guys Brian and I are a two man crew. We are making these things as fast as we can, and we are finding ways to make them faster.
Remember most of the parts we use are expensive, and the clocks are custom. We test all the units ourselves. Brian has an incredible amount of work with assembly/testing/shipping.There simply is no fast way to make these things with our current resources, but we are expanding those resources every day.

There appears to have been a few stale orders, so a few more are available.
We make as many available as we can at a time. There will be more available in two weeks, then again two weeks after that, and so on. Regular production is now in full swing, but still comes in batches.
