Hi,
Great work! Can we expect enough Buffalo32s board's in first batch for all awaiting customers? In other word's; will it become a time-competition to get one from the first batch? Hope you will accept a list of pre-orders in the coming weeks ;-) I want 3 boards ;-))) |

It's impossible to predict demand, especially with a wobbly economy.
We are getting doing a large initial batch, and planning a second large batch a few weeks behind that. Hopefully the first batch lasts a while and the second batch will stay in stock for a while, but who knows. Once we have a couple of the first boards built and running, we will open up orders while I build the rest. If needed, we will take orders for the second batch before we even order boards, and can make that batch as large as needed.

Just curious why not 3.3x4? which is 2X the old form factor. I suppose it is not designed to be stacked with other/older modules. For example, PSes in the bottom Sabre32S on top... Also, is it compatible with Volumite? |

Definitely not designed to stack. It is compatible with Volumite. Cheers! Russ

What is the word on DSD for the Buffalo 32S? I am really hoping that did not get cut.

It is still supported. It will operate very much like the current Buffalo. In fact it should actually be simpler to mod SACD players with this module than with the original Buffalo + IVY as the total package will be a bit smaller(unless you stacked I guess). Cheers! Russ
