I'm enjoying the speakers with Marantz CD-72MKII, 6F8G preamp and 300B SET mono block power amps.

Yes Tony, the sound is lovely with this cabinet and driver combination. Enjoy!

A new bookshelf cabinet under the mCHR-Ken70.3 plan was finished.



nice work - designs look familiar

thought about magnets for the grille attachment? while they wouldn't be hidden unless post veneered, they have the advantage of the pegs never breaking on the grilles - which is not always the easiest to fix


and assuming that some listeners might want to keep the grilles on ( WAF, etc), does the frame margin occlude the port slots?
