I used Finnish WISA birch plywood in 12 mm thickness to make these cabinets.

nice work - designs look familiar

thought about magnets for the grille attachment? while they wouldn't be hidden unless post veneered, they have the advantage of the pegs never breaking on the grilles - which is not always the easiest to fix


and assuming that some listeners might want to keep the grilles on ( WAF, etc), does the frame margin occlude the port slots?

It is a good idea about magnets for the grille attachment. I would try. Thanks.

The frame margin doesn't occlude the port slots.
