The 1.4 meters cables were sold out.
The new cables will be available soon. The length is 1.25 meters (4 feet). |

Hi,
Can you do custom lengths ? Example 15cm. I just need a very short connection from preamp to power amp. Regards, -Dee- Last edited by Musik007; 24th December 2010 at 12:30 AM. |

Hello.
If you don't mind my asking, is the wire solid or stranded? Bare copper or tinned? Is the cotton a serve or a braid? If braided, does it have a silk serve underneath? Thanks. se

The first cables I ever made back in the 70's when I was a teenager were some speaker cables I made using some old Western Electric cloth covered wire my grandfather had in his shed. Back then I was just being practical and used what I had available. Then about five years ago or so I bought some 24 gauge, stranded, tinned, waxed silk and cotton wire from Jake's on eBay. I instantly fell in love with it. ![]() se

Hi SE,
Thanks for your questions. This is the wire solid in 0.62mm diameter. It is bare copper with tin. It is waxed cloth with yarn serve underneath. See picture. Regards, Tony. |

Hi Tony,
So for my 15cm pair and a standard 1.25m pair, total would be USD $26 + $3.50 = $29.50 right ? EDIT: Pls give me a total cost for the above including shipping to Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Registered air mail. Regards, Dinesh aka Dee Last edited by chlorofille; 24th December 2010 at 02:47 PM. |
