Now we make and sell fine quality power cords which are made with selected vintage Western Electric wires.

The first power cord, Powerlink One we promote here is a power cord for CD player, DAC, preamp and single end tube amp. The wires are vintage Western Electric 2mm red copper wires with black waxed cloth. The outer diameter per wire is 4 mm without plastic jacket. The length of cable with plugs is 1.8 meters. The male and female power plugs are Hubbell HBL 8215C red copper.

This original old Western Electric wire from USA is very rare now. It is red copper wire with high purity. The wires used as power cord for audio can perform sound in transparent, natural, musical, powerful and detailed styles. The power cord is suitable for CD player, DAC, preamp and single end tube amp.

In my opinion copper wire made today should be way more pure than anything from the Western Electric era. Is it even legal to sell power cords made from solid wire?

The copper wire made today may be more pure than old wire. I know some audiophile copper cable and wire today are very expensive and the sonic performance may not be everyone's cup of tea. For the vintage wire like Western Electric, can have good performance under reasonable price. It is legal as there are a lot of power cords made from Western Electric wires selling in the market.

Wow. Unless that's been in cryo storage for the last 50 years I can't see how it wouldn't be almost as hard as brass and just as brittle.

This power cord was hand-made by my friend, Mr. Lu. He keeps a lot of stock of vintage Western Electric wires in different styles. Mr. Lu has enriched knowledge and experience to make power cords, interconnect cables and speaker cables for his main job. I tried some different cables on my tube amps. They are well-matched. So I introduced to my other friends and sold over 30 cables in local market.

I will recommend some power cords, interconnect cables and speaker cables later.
