This is our another EL34/KT66 single end class A amplifier. Thomas designed circuit of 6SJ7 pentode in triode connection to drive KT66 or EL34. The rectifier is 5AR4 or 5U4G.

Hi Alejandro,

In this single end class A amplifier, KT66 is under pentode connection and output power is 7W. There are 3 inputs and 4 ohms and 8 ohms ouptut for speakers.
This KT66 amplifier was well designed and soldered by Thomas. The capacitors were seriously selected. I bought NOS TCC Metalpack 0.25uF capacitors and used between 6SJ7 and KT66. Mcap electrolytic capacitor, 33+33uF/450VDC was used for power filtering. The price is USD650 including Chinese tubes.

Have you received the 6L6 amp?

Thanks.
Tony.

The cathode capacitors using in the amp is Philips BC 100uF/100VDC. This small blue cap is very good for using at cathode in tube amps. The sound of Philips BC is natural and balanced.

All the resistors are 1% metal film resisitors at 2W.
