New 300B single end - Page 7

Tony ,

I have a pair of WE300B in my bottlehead parafeed amps and like to roll a few other types, can you confirm the electrical characteristics are the same as the Western electric's?

Hi David,

Full Music 300B can directly replace WE300B on 300B tube amp, but the electrical characteristics between the two are not same.

New 300B single end with separated power supply were built. 6SN7-300B with double C-core output transformers and the power supply was separated from 6SN7, 300B tubes and output section. The tube rectification is 2x5U4G. The sound is silky and detailed.

Indeed, a beautiful amplifier. Who made the output transformers and where can one get those pretty transformer casings?
