Hi,
I'm studying Claus Byrith's "4-30" variation on the Mullard where he uses a Lundahl LL1669A PT.http://www.lundahl.se/typelist.html I'm confused about the secondary voltage whether its 340-0-340 or just 340V !!!! when I calculate the power -@700V- I get 520W while the Lundahl rating is only 225 VA! the cross section is almost nearly 60 x 40mm which weighs ower4.5Kg! The Lundahl weighs just 2.5Kg Is it possible that the Lundal's secondary is a single 340V ie 170-0-170!!!?? I'm really confused. Tarek |

I believe it is 340V across the whole winding, or 170-0-170 if you use the tap. The clue is the note "Sec 1 connected as above"...
