Hi Guys,
I'm wondering is the LM385 would do a better job then LED as for cathode bias? The LM385 can be adjusted from 1.24V to 5.3V and its dynamic impedance is 1 ohm. The data sheet is http://www.national.com/ds/LM/LM185-ADJ.pdf Thanks |

Here is what an LM385 really looks like to your circuit. Compare to the "schematic" of an LED.

Which leads to this kind of behavior. Compare to the dynamic Z of an LED.
