Default input tubes using 6922?

i haven't seen a circuit that uses 6922 as input tubes. can someone tell me why?

They are VERY popular. you can also look for circuits that list: e88cc/ecc88, 6DJ8 etc (there is a Soviet variant that I can't remember off hand). They are all very similar.

i guess I wasn't very clear and I apologize for this.

I've been looking at 300B/211/845/2A3 circuits and I rarely see 6922 variants in such a circuit.

is there a reason for this?

Hi,
I think its because the gain (mu=35) is just a tat short for a 2-stage integrated amp even for 2A3, but its ok if you ave a low gain line stage.

I'd tried em as driver for my 2A3 briefly, Like it a lot.

6H23pi (or transliterated 6N23P)

The Soviet variant is 6N23P. Heater 6.3V 365mA.
6N23P-EV is the substitute for E88CC.
